We have been practicing our skipping for a short time each morning.   

We all think we've improved.

Kittens Come Calling

Room 5 had a visit from two cute kittens.  

We had a great time writing and listening to what everyone had to say about them.

Tenacious Turtles Race Around in Room 5

Ryan's turtles visited us at school last Thursday.  

We thought they were cute.

Character  Descriptions

We have been learning to write character descriptions to show what someone looks like, to tell people what they say that makes them special and to tell people what they do.  We have written about Santa, Ronald McDonald AND .....           our Mums.  

Turuturu: 

Team; Thinker; Tactician; Learner; Communicator.

Room 5 children have been learning to use the camera.  They have been taking photos in the classroom to show examples of being a Turuturu Team member, Turuturu Thinker, Turuturu Tactician, Turuturu Learner and Turuturu Communicator.

I Can Count to 100

Here's a fantastic song we like to start our Maths Time with each day. We're learning about Place Value this term, so a lot of our focus is around number order (forwards and backwards), and some of us we are learning addition and subtraction.
